Renew .bot any time before expiry. Auto renew is available in the client area. After expiry there is a grace period of about 30 days where renewal is still at the normal price, but the website may stop working. After that comes a redemption period of about 30 days with a higher restore fee. When all periods end, the name is released and anyone can register it.
Transfers of .bot need the domain to be unlocked and a valid auth code from the current registrar. A domain cannot move within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer. The registrant email must approve the request. Typical time is 5 to 7 days.
A .bot name goes through these stages: Active for the paid term, then Expired with a grace period of about 30 days, then Redemption for about 30 days, then Pending delete, then released.
